About the SEL Learning Deck 

The SEL Learning Deck is a trauma-informed, experiential tool developed by Peacemakers’ Alliance and Cameron Counseling Associates to help youth build essential life skills.

Through interactive, hands-on activities, students learn to identify emotions, manage stress, communicate effectively, and develop a growth mindset. Designed for one-on-one or small group use, the deck fosters connection, confidence, and collaboration in a safe, supportive environment.

Early results show increased engagement, emotional literacy, and self-confidence. As we expand this work, we aim to bring this accessible, scalable tool to more students, educators, and communities.

​The need for accessible, scalable SEL tools is growing nationwide. The SEL Learning Deck offers a low-cost, replicable model that can be implemented by educators, clinicians, and community organizations to support youth well-being and academic success.
